Acts 4:32-35 - Love for the body
Scripture:
Acts 4:32-35
32 And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
33 And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.
34 For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales
35 and lay them at the apostles' feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.

Thoughts:
What a beautiful picture of fellowship in the body. I know in my life as a Christian, I've experienced something like this at different churches where I've been involved, though not to these extremes. What a blessing and joy it is!
Prayer:
Lord, fill me with Your love for the Christians around me. Let me be one of the people in my church that is loving the way You love us: unselfishly, and lavishly.
Thank You that You're not stingy with Your care for me, let me do the same for my brothers and sisters. Give me genuine concern for them, and let me be an instrument of Your grace in someone's life this week, whether they ever even realize it, or not.
Amen
