Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 - The meaning of life
Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His
commandments, because this applies to every person.
14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is
hidden, whether it is good or evil.
NASU
Thoughts:
Solomon had the luxuries of time, money, and wisdom to explore all this
world has to offer, and he did just this very thing. Here are his
concluding remarks, it is best to simply walk with God. All else he
found to be "meaningless."
Perhaps you have found this to be true in your own life, as well?
There is freedom that can only be found in Christ. Freedom from
guilt. Freedom from the power of sin. Freedom from the emptiness of
life without God. And most importantly, life eternal.
Prayer:
Thank You Lord that there is meaning in this life, when we know You.
Walking in Your will is what we were made for as Solomon found. Thank
You that I have entered the new life only You can give.
Amen
